Guys, so this blog has been dead for quite a while now, but I think I might bring it back to life.
I've been uninspired, insecure, lived under rocks. I'm feeling more like myself now.
Fall is meaningful to me, and it gives me the urge to write, photograph and be creative. I might be back and ready to roll.
Before I get all blogged up, read, turn up the volume and listen:

I forgot about these pictures from last years trip to Germany. There is something about churchyards from the 1500s. All the big gravestones that must have cost a fortune at that time, creepy statues of old men and little kids, and grass that hasn't been mowed for decades. Old churchyards don't scare me as much as new ones ( during the day at least), I could walk around for hours.

The thing about rain is that there are always so many excuses. You sleep longer because there is no reason to get up, you watch movies all day long because you don't want to go outside, you feel tired because of the dark sky, and you eat candy just because that's what you do on a rainy day. I admit that this is exactly how I've felt this whole week. I should've studied, I should've cleaned my room and I should've went for a run, but then all these excuses take control over me. I feel like I don't get any inspiration.
But that's wrong. I like rain, the sound of it and the feeling of it. I like walking outside without an umbrella and feeling the raindrops on the face. I like wearing rainboots and walking in wet grass. I like watching other people trying to run from it while trying to cover their hair with newspapers. But I choose to stay inside instead and bore myself to death.
Today I went outside and stood in the rain for ten minutes, just to do it. I did bring an umbrella, my 6-year old cousins Whinnie the Pooh umbrella, which was way to small.
It was nice.

The last two days I've been working with Fredrik Fiction on a commercial for TVNorge. It's been super stressful, and let me tell you, being a production assistant is not glamorous. We filmed in the worst weather ever on Tuesday, it seriously couldn't have rained more, and I'm still sore. Yesterday was great though, with a bright blue sky and lunch in the coziest backyard ever.

The light on the house in not the sun, it's just a huge light that portraits the sun. Oh the magic in film.

Today is my last day at my internship at Fredrik Fiction. Nine weeks went by way too fast, and I'm seriously getting sentimental about not being here next week or the weeks after that. I've had a blast, and it couldn't have been better!

And for those of you who are wondering what kind of picture this is, I'm not proclaiming war or anything like that. It's just a random picture hanging on the wall behind me. There are a lot of quotes and pictures like that around here; some people might say it's too much, but I like to say "more is more" (which is also a picture that is hanging on the wall in front of me).

Yesterday on my way home from work (read:internship), I sat all the way in the back of the train by myself. I turned on the i-pod, put it on shuffle and the first song that started playing was this:

As I sat there I realized that it somewhat paralyzed me. I couldn't move, just sat there with my head turned towards the sun flickering between trees and houses. In those three minutes and five seconds I completely lost all track of time and space, and therefore I forgot to get off at my station. When I came back to myself again I thought "why not just sit here?". So I did. I put my i-pod in video-modus, and filmed out the window. "This is the last station", was said on the speakers 20 minutes later and I eventually grabbed my stuff and went out, not sure how to find my way home. I think I will do this again some day.

There's no doubt what my favorite thing this week is; WHITE LIES. The concert on Sunday was amazing, and right now I am in some sort of White Lies-fever, in which I stalk them on youtube where I can listen to interviews and stuff for two hours. I believe it was like this the last time I went to their concert too. There is just something about them. <3

Flying

I had a weird dream last night. After a long day of shooting, running back and forth, making coffee, getting actors into their costumes and onto the set, I was dead when I got back to the apartment. I literarily just ran into my bed room and stayed there the whole night. When I fell asleep, I dreamt about flying away from a big explosion. I was so stressed and I couldn't move. I tried to run off of a cliff to try to fly, but I kept on falling. When the alarm rang, I totally lost track of time and space (but luckily I have a radio alarm, and they played Lukestar - flying canooes (ironically), and it is the best song to wake up to.)
Now I'm home after yet another day at my internship, where all I did was clean up the place after yesterday (read: carry really heavy equipment and props into our truck), and deliver it back from where we borrowed it. Being a production assistant can be hard, let me tell ya.

One of the things that fascinates me the most is the universe. It scares me, but at the same time I can't stop thinking about it. How can something be infinitely? I just don't understand, obviously no one can, but just think about it! For some reason every time I think about the universe I think about death. How can we just disappear and not be anymore? This might be the reason the space freaks me out, but there are just so many things we don't know. If I wasn't studying media, I would study astronomy and freak myself out everyday by thinking about going on a spaceship to a place where everything is quiet.
